Until you start going back to last gens graphics and then you'll appreciate the difference. It's funny how it works. It's like a trick to the brain or eyes. But that's unfortunate. The only way you appreciate new graphics is when you start to not appreciate the last gens graphics. I mean the graphics aren't that much different, but the picture is a heck of a lot better. What I mean by the graphics aren't much different is that the next gen doesn't feel much more ''REAL'' than last gen, it just looks prettier and more replete. But every other gen looked a lot more real. This gen doesn't quite have the same feel, but you do appreciate it when you see how bad last gen looks now.
But the only reason why the new stuff looks good after a while is because the other stuff ages. This is unfortunate. I guess you can't have it both ways. PS3 looks worse to our brains than when we remember looking at it when it first started. In other words, if there was no next gen, PS3 would still look as good as PS4 looks, in our MINDS. I wish that we could like the new graphics without having to see it grow on us, while the older stuff gets crappier.
